How long have you been playing at VBB?
Technically 20 years, but not loyally, until Howard has owned the joint.
How long have you been DJ-ing at VBB?
Well that goes way back, I’ve been doing tournaments here for 7-8 years. Regularly, we just started last season.
What’s your favorite thing about VBB?
Family. Everybody out here is friends/family I’ve known them forever, it’s amazing. It is definitely my home away from home, if not more so my home than home
What is your favorite memory being out at Volleyball Beach?
Playing out here and meeting my best friend Stefan out here. Also memorable is my 42nd birthday spent out here.
How long has Tyler been coming to your shows?
I didn’t meet Tyler until about a year ago, but I feel like I’ve known him for 10-20 years.
My favorite type of music to play is a mixture of different types of EDM, which people mistaken as dubstep, which dubstep is just a subgenre, but I love funky stuff, I love metal all that stuff. But I like to incorporate it, I do a lot of my own mixes. People like to hear hip-hop, the people out here like to hear things that they normally don’t hear. I try to introduce them to that.
