Looking to do something new with your co-workers for your next work event? Bring them to Volleyball Beach! Hosting events at the Beach is easy, and it’s the perfect way to foster some friendly competition and team bonding. Sand volleyball can be enjoyed by everyone, no matter individual athletic ability. And for those who aren’t too eager to get out in the sand, Volleyball Beach provides indoor and outdoor seating areas to hang out, have a drink or a bite to eat, and still feel included in the action!

How many people did you have at your event?
We had 30 people.
Do you guys have work outings often?
We do these kinds of events pretty often, and we like to choose something that’s active. Some other things we have done before include kickball, pickleball, and bowling. We like to have some kind of competition, and we have our own trophy that we pass around!
Was this your first time having an event at Volleyball Beach?
Yes. I had not been to Volleyball Beach before, but someone on our team suggested it to me. We were really drawn to having an event here because of how flexible scheduling was. We didn’t want to have an outdoor event when it was too hot or too cold, and other work events really narrowed down our options. The person who suggested Volleyball Beach to me mentioned the dome, so I reached out to learn more.
Did you have any food or drink added on?
Since our event took place around happy hour, we didn’t get any food but we did have some buckets of beer added on, and everyone really liked that.
What did the planning process look like?
It was really easy. I worked with the event coordinator over email, letting them know what we were looking for. They laid out our options and were very accommodating. Payment took place when we came for the event, and everything went very smoothly.
How long was your event?
Our event was about two hours after work during happy hour. It was the perfect amount of time. Everyone had a chance to play if they wanted to and then hang out and have a beer, too. We were wrapped up by 5 p.m. so everyone could still get home and have the evening to spend with their families.
Would you recommend Volleyball Beach to others for their work outings?
Absolutely! Two thumbs up from us! If you are looking to do something physical outside of the office, Volleyball Beach is a great choice! We will definitely be back!
