Volleyball Beach offers a total of four different league divisions: A – Power, BB – Upper Intermediate, B – Intermediate, and C – Recreational. Several key playing abilities determine which division players are best suited for, so it’s always a good idea to review them first; that way you’ll know which division you’ll have the most fun playing in!
Find A Player Forum
To help connect players with teams that need new members, the Volleyball Beach website has a dedicated forum for that – it’s the Find A Player page! The forum here is divided into different league divisions. Teams can post messages looking for new players to complete their team. Additionally, players can post forum messages to let teams who are short a player know they’re available to join (which is a great way to meet new people!). To use the Find A Player forum, all you need to do is complete a quick registration form on the page.
The Volleyball Beach KC Friends! Facebook Group
Another place where teams and players connect is on a private Facebook group named The Volleyball Beach KC Friends! You’ll need to send a request to join, but it usually doesn’t take long to be approved. In this group, teams regularly post when they’re in need of last-minute substitutes for matches happening during the current league season – sometimes for matches that very evening!
Members of the group also look for new teammates here, as well as share upcoming sand volleyball tournaments that you can take part in. It is an excellent place to meet new people who play in Volleyball Beach leagues.

Both of the online options above are great places to start, but if you want to get in on the action now, just come by Volleyball Beach on one of the league nights (Sunday-Friday). Volleyball Beach’s front desk person will be able to answer any questions you may have and even help find a team for you to sub-in on that evening if there are any teams in need of an extra player. The best way to quickly meet new people and find possible teams to join at Volleyball Beach is to sub-in on matches! This is actually how a fair amount of current Volleyball Beach teams got their start!
