Hi, Volleyball Beach Friends and Customers!
It’s hard to believe we’re already approaching the first anniversary of our purchase of Volleyball Beach! Volleyball Beach was our first foray into beach volleyball, and it’s an exciting growth area for us. We love the vibe and culture that you all bring to Volleyball Beach and hope to create that in our other volleyball locations.
As we get the Spring outdoor season underway, we also have some leadership changes coming to Volleyball Beach to announce. First off, Howard Barewin is stepping down from daily management of Volleyball Beach. We deeply appreciate Howard’s leadership and guidance at Volleyball Beach.
Don’t worry, Howard’s not exactly retiring – he’ll continue working for Genesis on our volleyball ventures. Howard added that you can also count him in for “band-time” with Blues & Brews live at the Beach on Sunday afternoons from 4-7 pm.
Former Volleyball Beach bar manager, Matt Blevins, is the new General Manager and he will oversee all operations of Volleyball Beach. Chris Eames is now running the volleyball leagues, and Jessica Baeuchle is expanding her role in tournament operations. These three great people have worked at Volleyball Beach in some capacity for years, so we anticipate that the only changes you’ll see will be positive ones. I encourage you to reach out to any one of them if there are things you’d like to see happen at Volleyball Beach!
